The LiON Box X is a ready-to-use charging station for e-bikes and e-scooters. It is small, easy to use, and made for public, commercial, and semi-public places.

How it works

The box charges up to three e-bikes or e-scooters at the same time:

• Two through built-in 36V charging cables with different plugs
• One through a 230V Schuko socket, for riders who bring their own charger

Users just plug in their bike and charging starts. They do not need a charger, a cable, or a registration.

Fits most batteries

The plugs fit about 95% of the batteries used in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Each box has two charging cables with three plugs each. Together, the cables cover 36V systems from:

• Bosch (smart and oval)
• BMZ, Brose, and Specialized
• Shimano
• Yamaha

The exact plugs on each cable depend on the version you choose. If a battery does not fit, the Schuko socket can be used with its own charger.

Smart charging cables

• A small LED light on each plug shows if the bike is ready, charging, or has an error.
• You can swap the cables on site with a tool. You do not need to open the box.
• This keeps the box up to date as new batteries come out.

Fast and gentle charging

• Charges quickly with 4 amps and up to 94% energy efficiency
• Starts slowly when a battery is empty to protect it
• Stops by itself when the battery is full, so it is safer and the battery lasts longer

Easy to install

Hang the box on a wall with the included brackets and plug it into a 230V socket. It is ready right away. You do not need an electrician.

Tough and safe

• The box is made of fiberglass-reinforced polycarbonate. It is strong, resists impact, and handles wind and weather, so it works indoors and outdoors.
• Metal holders on the side keep the cables neatly in place.
• Built-in protection covers overvoltage, undervoltage, reverse polarity, overcurrent, short circuit, and overheating.
• It lasts up to 20,000 hours at full load.
• It uses less than one watt of power per charging point when idle.
