The LiON Box S is a small, slim, and light wallbox for charging e-bikes. It is the space-saving and more affordable version of the LiON Box, with one charging point. It fits almost anywhere and is ready to use as soon as the mains plug is inserted.

How it works

Riders connect their e-bike to the box through the charging socket on the bike frame. They do not need an extra charger, and they do not need to remove the battery. About 95% of common e-bikes can be charged this way.

One charging point, three plugs

The box has one charging point with a 3-plug splitter, called the LiON Splitter. The three plugs let you charge different battery systems, for example the different brands in one family. The exact plugs depend on the version you choose. Please check the plug list at the top of the page.

The splitter can be replaced easily. If you buy new bikes or need other connections for more users, you can change the plugs. This keeps the box future-proof.

Smart charging plugs

• A status LED on the plug shows if the bike is “Ready” or “Charging”.
• The new plug generation is smaller and charges even more battery models per splitter.
• Variants with the Bosch Smart plug and the One4All Rosenberger plug for BMZ, Brose, and Specialized cover even more bikes.

Fast and gentle charging

• Charges 36V systems quickly with 4 amps and up to 94% energy efficiency
• Starts slowly when a battery is empty to protect it
• Stops by itself when the battery is full, so it is safer and the battery lasts longer

Small and easy to install

The LiON Box S is much smaller and lighter than the standard LiON Box. Its surface is about a third of the size, and it is only 5.5 cm deep. You can use it on a garage wall, in a bike shed, in a bike car park, or as part of a bike service station.

Cut-outs on the back of the housing let you hang the box on the wall quickly. Then plug it in and it is ready.

Safe and robust

• The wall-mounted housing is made of strong plastic.
• Built-in protection covers overvoltage, undervoltage, reverse polarity, overcurrent, short circuit, and overheating.
